"I hate running, I'm not a runner..."

And yet, somehow I've gotten myself into a five day, 260km run across the Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan which has been dubbed 'one of the world's toughest footraces' - The Wadi Rum Ultra. Errrrrrrrm...

I joined this challenge to support Team Like a Girl, founded by Lauren Morton. Team Like a Girl is a platform for positive change - a collective of women who come together to do big and small adventures and challenge the negative connotations of 'like a girl'.

It's a challenge I would 100% have not chosen to do unless asked (Thanks, Lauren!). It is a challenge in its purest form. And because I'm doing it with a team of awesome women, also demonstrates my belief in that when we work together we can achieve great things.

Race starts 6 October - watch this space.
